1. Introduction

My major is Accounting which belongs to the school of Business at George Mason University. The master accounting in George Mason University emphasize the latest trends and issues in accounting, business, and corporate governance. This program is designed to satisfy 150-hour adopted by many states for certification and licensed as a CPA. As an international student who have a non-accounting undergrad degree, I was required to get 42 credits and complete in 12 months for getting the master degree. In the future, I can take the job with accountant, audit, management and appraiser etc. Meanwhile, we have a great expected average starting salary $10,738 with George Mason MS in Accounting graduates.

3. Requirements of graduation

For my pathway program, I need to finish all the class and get the grades B or better, and the minimum GPA is 3.20. Besides I have to complete pathway study successfully, I also have to take a GRE test before I go to Mason which need I get Q155 and V146. In addition, I need to prepare two letter of recommendation too.

About Full-time MS in accounting program, allows students to focus on understanding concepts in the workforce and the principles needed to pass the CPA exam. Students have to complete the MS Accounting course on a full-time schedule. The program requires to complete in 12 months and get 42 credit with non-accounting undergraduate degree student and choose least five courses each semester.
